Ondine Ash

Scorched Ash Board

£67

Made using scorched ash, these smooth as silk chopping boards have been hand-shaped by Devon woodsman Ambrose Vevers for everyday kitchen use. The angular design houses the sturdy leather loop, perfect for storage, display and easy drying. You can choose from three lengths of board

With variations in size and grain due to the nature of the wood, they make the perfect unique gift, the sumptuous, scorched ash adding warmth and depth to a natural table setting. Filled with cheese, canapes or as a base for small dishes, these boards can be used for so much more than chopping.

Ambrose Vevers hand-makes fine wooden objects, with sustainability and stewardship at the heart of his practice. With his sawmill and workshop based in his family’s responsibly managed forest, he makes his wares in synchronicity with the woodland he knows so well.
