Sheepskin Rug | Rare Breed British | Chocolate
These rare breed sheepskin rugs are from British sheep, traditionally tanned for us in Devon. They are beautifully soft and fluffy, each with unique characteristics and tones of dark chocolatey brown. Use as a throw to add cosiness to a sofa or chair, alternatively use as a rug for a warm soft texture under bare feet. These sheepskins add a simple, rustic and natural charm to any space or colour scheme. Sheepskins are a great sustainable choice - they are durable, have self cleaning properties and will biodegrade at the end of their life.

Our rare breed and natural sheepskins are produced in Britain's oldest established sheepskin tannery which still employs traditional processing techniques. Locally sourced Lambskins are tanned to produce luxurious sheepskin rugs which have been produced in the small town of Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor, in Devon, for some 200 years.
The tannery has always procured the highest grade lambskins from locally bred flocks of sheep. The combination of traditional processing techniques handed down over the years to the current highly skilled craftsmen and the use of the local lambskins makes the sheepskins a unique and sought after product.
